Teachers’ Day Celebration

The height of creativity lay afoot when the SVM students took over responsibility of Teachers’ Day Celebration paying tribute to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan on his birthday i.e., 5^th September, 2012. What surprised all was the marvelous organisation of the festive programmes by the students on their own. Morning assessmbly had been a special one when students offered beautiful flowers and awards to the teachers and mentors, thus, showing their gratitude and respect. Wonderful song was presented by students of class IX and XI while the skit displaying secrets of classroom had really been awesome. Students also prepared and displayed an exceedingly significant documentary and a touching message for teachers. Principal Mr. Govind Borade appreciated students’ organised performance and congratulated for their team spirit. He suggested that teachers should determine, on the teachers’ day, to keep on enriching the students academically and render their help meeting their expectations in their task of learning.
